gzh-design · WeChat Article Typesetting

A WeChat public-account typesetting skill: converts Markdown / Word / PDF / plain text into HTML that pastes straight into the WeChat article editor with all styling intact.
Auto chapter numbering, per-paragraph keyword underlines, pull-quote highlights, table of contents, code blocks, images/GIFs, and author signature; themes are auto-recommended from the component library by article genre, with a one-click auto-typeset mode. WeChat articles only — not general web pages.
Example invocation: "Typeset this Markdown into a WeChat article — just do it, no questions."
Full brief
Positioning
gzh-design is the typesetting engine for WeChat public-account articles: it converts a Markdown article (or Word / PDF / plain text) into HTML that pastes directly into the WeChat editor with zero styling loss. Its core asset is a theme component library — all HTML comes from the library, never written from memory.
Core capabilities
- Multi-format input normalization: docx, PDF, and plain text are first converted into a Markdown draft with structure confirmed.
- Auto theme recommendation: the best-fitting theme is recommended by article genre (tutorials → one theme, opinion pieces → another), confirmed in one step; or run fully automatic with no questions.
- Genre recipe mapping: the article type (tutorial / roundup / opinion / interview / data / essay / case study) is detected, then components are chosen from that theme's "genre → component recipe" — keeping a consistent look across same-genre articles.
- Smart typesetting: automatic chapter numbering, 1–3 keyword underlines per paragraph, pull-quote highlights, table of contents, EN labels, half-width → full-width punctuation conversion, list conversion, and code/prompts forced into code blocks.
- Platform red-line validation: the validate script must report zero ERRORs (and zero half-width punctuation warnings) before delivery — missing
<span leaf>wrapping is the most common fatal mistake. - Preview page with copy button: a preview page with a "Copy to WeChat" button copies the rendered rich text in one click.
- Custom theme generation: when built-in themes don't fit, a new theme can be generated from a description or reference image and registered.
Workflow
- Normalize input (non-Markdown → Markdown draft, structure confirmed)
- Pick the theme (genre-based recommendation, user confirms; or one-click automatic)
- Read the component libraries (theme-specific + shared components)
- Parse the Markdown structure and detect the article type
- Select the component recipe and assemble the HTML
- Run the validator (zero ERRORs, zero half-width punctuation warnings)
- Output the clean body HTML + the copy-button preview page
Inputs & outputs
| Input | Notes |
|---|---|
| Article content | Required — Markdown / .docx / .pdf / .txt / plain text |
| Theme | Optional — specify one or take the genre-based recommendation |
| Mode | Optional — "just do it" enters fully automatic mode (no questions) |
Output: clean body HTML (a <section> fragment, no document shell) + the copy-button preview page + the validation result. Pastes directly into the WeChat editor.
Boundaries with adjacent skills
- This skill is for WeChat article typesetting only; general web pages, landing pages, and slide decks don't belong here.
Fit
- Typesetting tutorial / review / checklist articles for WeChat
- Visual hierarchy treatment for long-form opinion pieces
- Converting Word/PDF handouts into publishable WeChat articles
- Series columns that need a stable, consistent typesetting identity
Before you start
- Provide the article content first if nothing's been given; every paragraph and image in the original is converted — no content added or dropped.
- The job isn't done until the validator reports zero ERRORs, including half-width punctuation warnings.
- The signature block defaults to a
{{author name}}placeholder — replace it with your own after delivery; if the theme index is empty, a custom theme must be generated first.
