skill-kuaishou-upload · Kuaishou Video Publishing

A Kuaishou publishing skill built on a shared browser-automation framework (Playwright + persistent login state): a real browser logged into the Kuaishou creator center. Vertical 9:16 video only, with a maximum of 4 topic hashtags.
A built-in auth probe for the publishing subsystem catches the false positive where the page looks logged in but uploads actually fail. Success is judged by read-back reconciliation against the creator's work list — never by the click alone.
Example invocation: "Publish this vertical video to Kuaishou."
Full brief
Positioning
skill-kuaishou-upload is a web-automation publishing channel for Kuaishou: a shared Playwright-based framework that publishes through a real browser logged into the Kuaishou creator center. Not an official API — a config-driven, login-persistent web publishing setup.
Core capabilities
- Persistent login state: first QR/manual login to the creator center persists the profile for reuse; remote/headless environments can use
login-qrpolling. - Publishing-subsystem auth probe: the creator center's shell login outlives the upload subsystem's authorization — the page can look logged in while uploads fail. The built-in probe in
whoamigenuinely verifies publishability, catching and self-healing this false positive. - Plan preview + headed verification: first publish runs
planpreview and--headedvisual confirmation that selectors still work, before headless batches. - Hashtag cap of 4: exceeding it raises "topic hashtags exceed the limit: 4".
- Read-back success verdict: post-click UI signals are corroboration only; the script returns to the works page and reconciles the creator's work list (title prefix + time window, pre-publish snapshot excludes old works). Only
✅ Kuaishou publish succeeded (read-back verified: work <id>…)counts. The other three grades (unverified / login_required / readback_error) never claim success and forbid blind re-publishing. - JS-dispatched publish click: the submit button's class carries hash suffixes that change per site update; the script locates the visible element with
innerText=='发布'and abutton-primaryclass, then dispatches the click via JS. - Profile-aware: titles and hashtags match the profile style and Kuaishou's ecosystem (down-to-earth, colloquial), vertical 9:16.

Inputs & outputs
| Input | Notes |
|---|---|
| Media | Required — vertical 9:16 video |
| Title | Recommended |
| Topic hashtags | Optional — # topics, max 4 |
Output: ✅ Kuaishou publish succeeded (read-back verified: work <id>…) or a failure grade with a "don't re-publish yet" note.
Boundaries with adjacent skills
- skill-bilibili-upload: uses the biliup CLI; Bilibili skews horizontal 16:9 and supports scheduled publishing and repost declarations. This skill uses Playwright browser automation, with vertical 9:16 as the Kuaishou norm.
Fit
- Routine vertical short-video publishing on Kuaishou
- Publishing flows that need work-list verification
- Accounts with flaky login state needing the auth probe
- Visually verifying selectors after a site update before batching
Before you start
- Install
playwright+playwright install chromium; needs a real browser and a logged-in Kuaishou creator center. - Convert horizontal footage to vertical with video-reframe first; video flow only.
- Selectors need maintenance as Kuaishou's web UI changes (calibrated on real devices 2026-08); update config instead of forcing runs when they break.
- Kuaishou's publish tokens expire fast — re-scanning more often than other platforms is normal.
- Login state and cookies are sensitive; store them safely, never leak.
